Sarah Michelle Gellar, 47, shows off impressive physique as she relaxes in an ice bath - and reveals what her favorite role is in candid Q&A

Sarah Michelle Gellar showed off her toned  fans frame in a swimsuit as she relaxed n an ice bath.

The Buffy the Vampire Slayer star participated in a 'Break The Ice' segment at Alo Gym, where she answered questions while soaking in the tub.

In the Tuesday YouTube video, Sarah wore a two-piece black workout outfit that consisted of a sports bra and matching biker shorts.

The 47-year-old kept her bright blonde locks pulled back into a low bun and donned gold jewelry on both ears.

'Hi, I'm Sarah Michelle Gellar, and I'm going to break the ice with Alo,' Sarah said before entering the ice bath.

'Oh, that's chilly,' the Ringer actress remarked before sliding her muscular legs into the freezing cold water.

Answering the first question, Sarah revealed when she feels her best.

'Right now,' she quipped while struggling to fully emerge into the ice bath.

As for Sarah's favorite character she's ever played? Well, the Hollywood starlet chose two of her most iconic roles, stating, 'Oh, goodness, that's a hard one. It's got to be a tie between Buffy and Cruel Intentions.'

Sarah added, 'It is very hard to think when you're cold!'

And when it comes to the Do Revenge alum's favorite city to vacation in, Sarah had to take a moment to think it through.

'Oh, my favorite city. I don't know, city, I just,

Poking fun at her current situation, Sarah noted, 'I love anywhere warm right now. Okay, are you guys getting the hint that I want something warm right now?'

'First thing I do is look at the clock and see if I really have to get up,' she then explained about her morning routine. 'And then I start thinking, if I get up, I can have coffee. So I need to motivate to get downstairs so I can have coffee.'

Which Sarah takes 'black like my heart.'

The Angel vet also shared what she loves most about herself: 'I think I'm a good friend.'

When asked about the craziest wellness trend she's done, Sarah thought about her present circumstances.

'I think you might actually be witnessing it that I'm actually letting someone film me while I'm freezing,' she shot back. 'So cold. I can barley form sentences. Am I coming out somewhat intelligent right now? No, probably not.

Sarah then took a moment to reflect on the key to a happy marriage.

'Separate bathrooms,' the star quickly responded.

Giving a glimpse into her morning routine, the Ringer star admitted: 'First thing I do is look at the clock and see if I really have to get up'

And it's safe to say Sarah is someone's word to take on the matter, as she tied the knot with Freddie Prinze Jr. in 2002, and the couple shares daughter Charlotte, 14, and son Rocky, 12.

'I think sometimes people might think that I'm difficult because I have high expectations,' Sarah answered when asked about a misconception about herself, 'and a very hard work ethic and I want everyone to sort of have that so I can come across, I think, a little intense sometimes.'

And while the cookbook author got deeper into the ice bath, now placing her elbows underwater, she answered, 'What is one Alo item you can't live without?'

'I have to narrow it down to one?' she asked. 'Oh my goodness. Probably my airlift leggings.'

Sarah, who tied the knot with Freddie Prinze Jr. in 2002, said the key to a happy marriage is 'separate bathrooms'

As for the last thing she does before going to bed at night? As Sarah put it, 'Dream about the coffee I'm going to have when I wake up in the morning.'

And what shows are being watched right now in the Prinze household? 'I'm just finishing up Ru Paul's Drag Race,' Sarah stated.

Meanwhile, the producer's favorite comfort meal is sushi, and her favorite restaurant in Los Angeles, Blue Ribbon Sushi, falls in line with that choice. Her favorite cities she's ever lived in are Tokyo and her native Manhattan.

And yes, while growing up in The Big Apple, being an actress was 'all I ever thought about doing or wanting to be.'

'I love all over Italy. I do love Hawaii just to rest,' she reflected about her favorite cities. 'And I also love Australia. Love Sydney'

'But I also wanted to be a photojournalist or be Diane Sawyer,' Sarah continued. 'I thought there might be a way to do both. But, since I'm barely managing enough time to do one, I think that one may not happen.'

But these days, Sarah is looking to travel to new destinations, including the Maldives and Africa.

When asked about a small thing that excited her, Sarah teased, 'I can't say coffee again, right? Because that's like three times I've said it,' before genuinely replying, 'getting to spend time with my friends.'

The Angel vet also shared what she loves most about herself: 'I think I'm a good friend'

On a more serious note, Sarah contemplated how she finds balance in her life.

'I think balance is a struggle, but I think it changes daily, and so the little things that you can do to take time, I mean obviously coming to Alo has been a huge balance for me and I love it, and it's my church.' she said. 'But even if you can only take a couple of minutes to close your eyes and just find some peace. You just have to figure it out daily and don't be so hard on yourself about it. It can't always look the same.'

Finishing up her Q&A, Sarah quipped, 'Now I'll just chill.'

She exited the tub, threw on a fluffy Alo robe, and told the camera, 'Well, I'm Sarah Michelle and I just broke the ice with Alo and now I have no feeling in any body parts below my neck!'
