Kevin Costner shared insights about life with his seven children, emphasizing that despite his Hollywood status, he's just like any other father.
The Yellowstone star, 69, revealed he drives his three younger children — Cayden, 17, Hayes, 15, and Grace, 14, whom he shares with ex-wife Christine Baumgartner — to school and sport practice when he's not working.
'I'm an Uber guy,' he joked to People on Saturday. 'I'm not any different than anybody else!'
Referring to the kids as 'shooting stars,' the Oscar winner added: 'My life is driving up and down the freeway just trying to get the children where they think they need to be... but that's part of the job.'
The actor also shares Annie, 40, Lily, 37, and Joe, 36, with his ex wife Cindy Costner, as well as 26-year-old Liam with former girlfriend Bridget Rooney.

Kevin fondly recalled raising his close-knit family with activities like surfing, spearfishing, and lobster diving at his ocean-side home in Santa Barbara.
'They surf, and they dive, and we spear fish…We use every inch of the ocean, and the property…It's a perfect place for us,' he explained.
For Costner, his family has been a constant pillar of strength, and his children are the 'anchor' in his life.
'They know that I have this chosen work, but honestly, I'm really clear about where my responsibility absolutely lies at the end of the day,' he added.
The family tea comes after Kevin confirmed he won't be returning to the Yellowstone series.
On Thursday, he announced via a short video on his social media accounts that he will not be making an appearance in the hit Western crime series when it returns for season 5B.
'Hi everyone. I just want to reach out and let you know that after this long year and a half of working on Horizon and doing all the things that's required, and thinking about Yellowstone — that beloved series that I love, that I know you love — I just realized that I'm not going to be able to continue Season 5b or into the future,' Costner said.
Rumors had circulated that Costner's departure from the series was due to conflicts with producers over salary, scheduling issues, and his commitment to his Western project, Horizon: An American Saga.

'I loved it, and I know you loved it,' he reiterated. 'I just wanted to let you know that I won't be returning.'
The actor and director concluded with what may have been an entreaty for his fans to see his upcoming Horizon films.
'I love the relationship we've been able to develop, and I'll see you at the movies,' he said as a slight smile crossed his lips.

Costner has disputed reports of the nature of his disagreements over Yellowstone, and he complained that the show's producers declined to defend him amid reports he disagreed with.
The actor has also denied that his issues with the series were due to his Horizon filming schedule.
He has said that he was ready to return to film season 5B, but the scripts for the second half of the season had allegedly not been written in time.

He is also the showrunner, writer and director of multiple Yellowstone spinoffs, as well as several other shows he has created for Paramount and its streaming service Paramount+, leading some to suggest that he has stretched himself too thin, which led him to allegedly fail to produce scripts in time for Costner to film the second half of season five.
Sheridan has disputed that he is too busy due to his multiples shows and other projects.
