HOW WE HIRE

We are purpose driven. As one of the most trusted media brands in the world, we deliver world-class creativity and ground breaking content to inform, educate and entertain our audiences

Mindset matters. We look for positive people who live our Values and ensure our culture remains inclusive and full of opportunity.

We value difference. People who are self-aware, enthusiastic and who deliver world-class content and operational excellence.

We look for potential over polish and give you the opportunity to put your transferable strengths and experience to work in different ways.

THE ROLE OF OUR VALUES IN HIRING

More than just words on a page, our values inform everything we do. They are the DNA of the BBC. They set out who we are and how we do things. They define what you can expect from the BBC, and what the BBC expects from you.

Throughout the selection process, we’ll be looking for evidence of how you demonstrate each of them.

“Everything we do relies on us attracting and retaining the finest talent by creating an inclusive, diverse and trusted environment. We want everyone to play their part in creating the right culture – and we look for people who use their energy and passion to make working at the BBC great for all of us.”

– Tim Davie, Director General BBC
