Why isn’t my password working?
Your account may require a custom password reset. To initiate the password reset process, please click on “Reset Password” within the Foreign Policy login window. I don’t see where to sign in. What’s happening?
If the sign-in prompt is not appearing for you, please ensure that your browser is not blocking cookies or that cookies from foreignpolicy.com have been whitelisted. For more information on troubleshooting issues around logging in, please see this Help Center article.

Why isn’t my account information loading?
To ensure an optimal experience on ForeignPolicy.com (and for subscribers, seamless access to your account), you’ll need to disable any adblockers you might have running in your browser and/or add ForeignPolicy.com to your whitelisted sites.

How can I check my subscription status?
To check your subscription status, visit My Account on ForeignPolicy.com or click the profile icon in the top right of the Foreign Policy homepage. In My Account, select the “Subscription” tab for full details.

Please note, you must be logged in to view My Account.


How can I upgrade / downgrade my subscription?
If you’re looking to upgrade to our highest subscription tier, FP Insider, you can do so by visiting ForeignPolicy.com/Insider at any time. For other term changes, visit My Account. Select the “Subscriptions” tab to view eligible changes. For more information regarding subscription upgrades/downgrades, please see this Help Center article.

Where can I update my payment method?
To update the payment method for your subscription, visit My Account on ForeignPolicy.com. In My Account, select the “Payment Method” tab for full details. For a step by step guide to updating your payment method, please see this Help Center article.


How can I obtain a receipt for my payment?
To obtain a receipt for your payment, visit My Account on ForeignPolicy.com. In My Account, select the “Transactions” tab to download your receipt directly or request one to be sent to your email.


How do I purchase a group subscription?
Your ForeignPolicy.com subscription is intended for a single-user only. If you think your peers would also benefit from FP access, a group subscription will fit your needs! You can find more details and contact information on our Group Subscriptions page


How do I purchase a gift subscription?
You can purchase a gift subscription at https://foreignpolicy.com/gift-subscriptions/

Foreign Policy offers several gift subscription options:

  • One year of Standard access for $199.99
  • Six months of Insider access for $125
  • One year of Insider access for $249

Your gift subscription will be delivered to the designated recipient (with redemption instructions) by email on the date specified at checkout. To read more about gift subscriptions or have a gift subscription issue, please visit our gift subscription section of our Help Center.

I’m an FP Insider. How do I activate my complimentary 6-month gift subscription?
FP Insiders are eligible for one 6-month gift subscription every one year period starting on the date of purchase. Please reach out to [email protected] and a member of our customer experience team will help you set up access for your gift recipient within 72 hours. If you cancel your subscription, the gift recipient will continue to have access for the full 6-month period, as long as the gift subscription is activated before the original subscriber loses access. Multiple free gift subscriptions cannot be accrued over time – any gift not utilized within a subscription term expires on the subscription renewal date.


I didn’t receive the latest print edition of Foreign Policy magazine.
You can file a missing print claim for the latest print edition by following this link: https://foreignpolicy.com/print-claims/. You will need to sign-in to your Foreign Policy subscription account in order to file the claim.

I’m unable to login to the Foreign Policy mobile app.
You are able to login to the Foreign Policy mobile app with the same credentials you use for ForeignPolicy.com.

If your first attempt is unsuccessful, ensure you are on the most up-to-date version of the app. You can also try to reinstall the mobile application. Read this Help Center article for more mobile app troubleshooting.

I purchased a subscription through Google Play or App Store, and I can’t login to ForeignPolicy.com with my credentials.
Subscriptions purchased via Google Play or Apple’s App Store must be redeemed to a Foreign Policy account in order to login to ForeignPolicy.com

I’m an international student, but I’m unable to purchase an academic subscription using my school’s email address.
Academic subscriptions are only available to students with valid email addresses originating from academic and educational domains around the world. It’s possible this form is not set up to accept your institution’s or region’s email address. If you believe this is the case, contact us at [email protected].


How can I cancel my subscription?
To cancel your subscription, log in to your account on our website, and turn off auto-renew in your account settings. You can also contact [email protected], and we can assist in canceling your subscription. After canceling your FP subscription, you will be able to access FP for the remainder of the billing cycle you have paid for. Please note that FP does not offer refunds in most situations.
