James Strawbridge

James is a chef, sustainable living expert and television presenter.

He lives on the South Cornish coast with his wife Holly and their three young children. When not developing new recipes, James can be found foraging for wild food with his family, out at sea gig-rowing for his local club or painting the Cornish countryside.

James has written ten books on artisan crafts, preserving food and traditional skills. He co-authored his first book, Practical Self-Sufficiency, with his father Dick Strawbridge. His most recent book is The Complete Vegetable Cookbook: A Seasonal, Zero-waste Guide to Cooking with Vegetables.
