The BBC's Mariko Oi travels across Japan to see what impact new funding may have on tech and explores whether it has the potential to be Asia's Silicon Valley.

Japan was once seen as a pioneer when it comes to innovation. However, the country famous for Nintendo and the bullet train has now fallen behind some of its economic rivals. The government wants Japan to be at the forefront of high tech and announced it would tap into its huge pension fund to assist local entrepreneurs.
