'Impacting people's day to day is so important' - para surfer Kirsty Taylor

Welsh para surfer Kirsty Taylor says while competing at the World Para Surfing Championship will be "fun", helping others day to day is the most important thing.

Taylor was born with talipes - commonly known as clubfoot - a lower limb condition where some of the tendons in her Achilles and foot did not form properly.

After living with the condition for 22 years, Taylor had her leg amputated below the knee in November 2022, and just 12 months later she has been selected to the Wales para surfing squad.

Taylor and fiance Xander run a social media account called 'Our Chaotic Adventure' documenting their travels as they "tackle adventure in a not always accessible world".
