Dundee United swept aside Arbroath to maintain their four-point lead at the top the Scottish Championship.
First-half goals from Kai Fotheringham and Tony Watt had them on easy street and, save dealing with pass backs, goalkeeper Jack Walton was unemployed.
Watt added a tap-in third just short of the hour mark after poor defending and substitute Alex Greive fired the fourth.
The visitors also lost substitute Kyle Robinson to two yellow cards.
Arbroath's day had started badly, too, with Derek Gaston having to limp off and be replaced with on-loan Hibernian goalkeeper Max Boruc.
And it ended having fallen eight points adrift at the foot of the table after Inverness Caledonian Thistle's draw with Airdrieonians.
United, though, stay four points clear of Raith Rovers with eight games left to play.
Dundee United manager Jim Goodwin: "The important thing is to win the remaining games but I thought we did it today with the kind of performance that gets people off their seats."
Arbroath manager Jim McIntyre: "No excuses. We were well beaten. We made horrendous mistakes at the back and it's hard enough here."
