Harrogate Town eased to victory over Yorkshire rivals Bradford City in front of a record home league crowd of 3,905.

Josh March set the hosts on their way to ending an eight-game winless run when he headed in Warren Burrell's cross.

George Thomson then doubled Town's lead from the penalty spot in the 73rd minute after Brad Halliday was penalised for handball.

A Daniel Oyegoke own goal sealed victory, and ensured a fourth consecutive defeat for the Bantams, six minutes later, the defender turning Jack Muldoon's into his own net.

Well done Harrogate from a city fan. I saw them in the Blue Square North league and Simon Weaver was getting some stick about him being their only because his father was chairman.How wrong they were. Amazing what Harrogate have done.

City must sack Ryan Sparks as CEO. Ryan is leading the club very, very badly. He is too young and far too inexperienced for such a key role.

Also where is Ryan? I saw lots of other senior City staff at today’s game but Ryan Sparks was nowhere to be seen! A good leader is visible - a poor leader hides away!!

Great crowd for Harrogate town, im guessing the ground has some kind of upgrade? What was the previous biggest about 1,500.

Harrogate won their game of the season - biggest league crowd ever. Even then their fans didn’t seem too interested. Glad the Bantams mean that much to them! 😉

City must sack Ryan Sparks as CEO. We’re a decent sized club led by a very young, inexperienced guy who is miles out of his depth.

Bradford have been terrible for years. There comes a point in every clubs history where something needs to change and Bradford have reached it. You are football club with half decent stadium and the City has youngest population in the UK. Get yourself a decent owner with money and get your act together. You are a championship level club start acting like one

Well, our home form has been less than impressive and good as we were today, Bradford were poor. A very comfortable win for Town, we've barely had a shot in recent matches but today had 7 on target! Hope March's goal gives him confidence to get a few more before the end of the season.

I have just had a quick glance at City's forthcoming fixture list, and honestly cannot see us gaining one more point, so shall be reliant upon other teams being as aimless as us, although league status could be retained. Just!

I was passing through Accrington last Saturday when the train was suddenly filled with some of Bradford's loyal, committed supporters.
They deserve a lot more from those running their club.

After the last two games, which Town played the Catenaccio style of football, and Towns poor home record, I was expecting 0-0, or 1-4 defeat.. Shock, horror, a comfortable home win... Were Town good, or Bradford poor? Wimbledon away on Friday, will give us the answer...
