  1. Goodbye

    Toulouse 66-26 Exeter Chiefs

The Toulouse try-fest brings the curtain down on a sumptuous weekend of Champions Cup rugby.

It will be Leinster v Northampton, then Toulouse v Harlequins on the 4th and 5th of May respectively and if the quarter-finals are a yardstick, then the semis will be unmissable.

    See you then!

  2. 'It was awesome'

    FT: Toulouse 66-26 Exeter Chiefs

Toulouse's Blair Kinghorn speaking to ITV: The first half was really hard and they came out pumping, but in the second half we managed to get our rugby on the field. This place was right behind us and it was awesome.

"They are a good team, when they are on top they play front foot rugby that is hard to stop, but we dealt with it well. In the second half we came alive."

  3. Can Quins do it?

    FT: Toulouse 66-26 Exeter

The semi-final will be played at the larger, 33,000 capacity Stadium de Toulouse, but Quins pulled off a famous win on French turf yesterday and will fancy themselves.

  4. Toulouse rampage into last four

    FT: Toulouse 66-26 Exeter

The hosts ran in seven tries after the break, Exeter simply had no answer.

  5. Full-time - Toulouse into the semi-finals

    FT: Toulouse 66-26 Exeter

The conversion is the last action of the afternoon, and Toulouse have made the last four where they will face Harlequins.

  6. Converted try - Toulouse 66-26 Exeter

    Juan Cruz Mallia (con: Ramos)

Exeter lose the ball in the tackle on halfway, then Francois Cros flips it up off the deck to Juan Cruz Mallia, who hares downfield to cross the whitewash again

  7. Post update

    Toulouse 59-26 Exeter

Julien Marchand slips through a tackle and races into the Exeter half. The ball is quickly through several hands until François Cros is stopped a few metres short. That deserved to be a try - Toulouse have been sublime today.

  8. Converted try - Toulouse 59-26 Exeter

    Pita Ahki (con: Ramos)

Jack Willis barrels through and looks set for his second try, but after he's tackled the ball is flipped out to the right and centre Pita Ahki slides in for his second try of the afternoon.

  9. Post update

    Toulouse 52-26 Exeter

The Toulouse crowd were edgy in the first half, but it's a different story now - and now here's the almost inevitable rendition of 'Sweet Caroline'.

  10. Post update

    Toulouse 52-26 Exeter

Toulouse have won the Champions Cup five times and Harlequins will have their work cut out to stop them reaching another final when they meet in the semis.

  11. Converted try - Toulouse 52-26 Exeter

    Juan Cruz Mallia (con: Ramos)

More great play from Toulouse; they drag Exeter all over the pitch, then Romain Ntamack sets up his winger with a lovely, looping pass.

  12. Converted try - Toulouse 45-26 Exeter

    Zack Wimbush (con: Slade)

Exeter are not done yet! Substitute Zack Wimbush crashes over near the posts after a fine take to a difficult pass.

  13. Post update

    Toulouse 45-19 Exeter

Exeter have been decimated - Toulouse have racked up 28 points since the resumption! And we are only just into the fourth quarter...

  14. Converted try - Toulouse 45-19 Exeter

    Antoine Dupont (con: Ramos)

Another brilliant score from the hosts with the captain flying in from outside the 22.

There's a TMO check for something early in the move, but the ball went backwards and the try stands.

  15. Converted try - Toulouse 38-19 Exeter

    Blair Kinghorn (con: Kinghorn)

Multiple offloads by a succession of Toulouse players sees the ball end up with the full back out on the right touchline. He zooms over for his second, and just for good measure he pots a tough conversion in off the upright.

When it's your day, it's your day

  16. Post update

    Toulouse 31-19 Exeter

It is turnover ball again, and Toulouse spread the ball to the left and into the 22, until a fine tackle from Immanuel Feyi-Waboso saves the day.

  17. Converted try - Toulouse 31-19 Exeter

    Pita Ahki (con: Kinghorn)

    Too easy.

Matthis Lebel is in off the wing to slice through the middle, he then looks and finds his centre Pita Ahki who has the simple task of running under the posts.

Toulouse have really turned the screw since the break.

  18. Converted try - Toulouse 24-19 Exeter Chiefs

    Blair Kinghorn (con: Kinghorn)

Kudos to the hosts for kicking to the corner rather than for points to begin with. Then they run it across to the right, keep it alive and the full back pops onto a short pass, wriggling over with three Exeter players on top of him.

And he converts his own score to restore Toulouse to the lead,

  19. Penalty - Toulouse 17-19 Exeter

    Slade

Henry Slade lands another successful kick from a few metres inside the Toulouse half and Exeter retake the lead.

  20. Post update

    Toulouse 17-16 Exeter Chiefs

Chiefs will get another penalty chance when Richie Arnold tackles a player off the ball.
