Super League: Warrington Wolves thrash London Broncos to continue winning run

Warrington Wolves full-back Matt Dufty has signed a new contract to remain with the Super League club until 2026.

The 28-year-old has scored six tries in six games so far this season, including a hat-trick against London on Sunday.

"I saw him last year and thought we could utilise him better," boss Sam Burgess told BBC Radio Merseyside.

"I'm thrilled for him. He deserves it and now we've just got to get him consistent on the field."

Dufty is in his third season with the club, having initially signed a two-and-a-half-year deal after signing from Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs in 2022.

He is currently second in the overall Man of Steel standings.

"He's got so much more in him. I dare say he's in the best form in the competition after five rounds," Burgess added.

"I've got people ringing me from Australia talking about him. People ringing me who don't know much about the game talking about him. He's obviously doing something right."
