Roles and responsibilities
- Jamie leads the BBC World Service Group, which provides news in English and 42 other languages around the world, on TV Radio and Online.
- He has responsibility for the World Service radio in English, as well as BBC Global News, a commercial subsidiary which commissions BBC World News and bbc.com, and for BBC Monitoring and BBC Media Action.

Jamie has worked for BBC News since 1999. He has been Editor of the Today programme and The World at One, for BBC Radio 4, and held a number of roles in BBC World Service Group, most recently as Deputy Director.
