Sometimes when we post stuff online we don’t really think too much about it. After all it’s just a picture, right? But what if the street you live in is showing? And what if your house number is there too? This can be a problem and it could potentially put you in danger.
But don’t worry - there's no need to panic. Fortunately, most of these mistakes can be prevented. Carefully look at the photos and videos you’re posting and make sure you are not giving away personal information.
If you’re sharing a group picture, always make sure you have everybody’s permission to share it online and respect their decision.
