Dan TDM, Minecraft creators and others offer tips on turning gaming into a career

Do you think your passion for gaming is just a hobby? Something you do after school to chill out? Well, it could be more than that. You could become an e-sports competitor, a games developer, a level tester or even a games journalist.

If you don’t really know how to break into a career like that, a good place to start is doing some research. Listen to the stories of people who’ve made it, find out what subjects in school could help you out and learn to code. Check out this quiz and Own It’s top tips to get started on coding.

Whatever you decide to do, the key to success is to practise hard!
