Everton and Besiktas are in talks about a potential loan move for midfielder Dele Alli.

The 26-year-old, who has been capped 37 times by England, has started one game in 13 Everton appearances since joining the club from Tottenham last January.

However it is not certain that a loan move to Turkey will happen.

But if it did, it would represent a blow to the former Spurs player, who joined Everton in attempt to revitalise his career.

BBC Radio Newcastle's Aflie Joey spoke to lifelong Newcastle fan Kevin Taylor, who was lucky enough to meet Joelinton at his house, after news of his Newcastle tattoos went viral.

Taylor, who has images of Alan Shearer, Bruno Guimaraes and Joelinton across his stomach, told Joey that "it wasn't a joke", he's just "a massive fan."

Speaking about why he chose Joelinton, Taylor said: "I just love the way that he plays and what he does for the team.

"He didn't have a great start but the turnaround has just been incredible."

The Magpies midfielder found out about Taylor's tattoos through a Brazilian reporter, who found it on social media, got in touch and ran an article on it.

The reporter then gave Joelinton the fan's number and he randomly text him to arrange to meet up.

"I couldn't believe it, I thought my mates were winding me up but he then sent his actual address."

In the Brazilian's front garden they took photos, before he got the training nets out and started playing football with Taylor's son.

On meeting the midfielder, he said: "Not many kids can say that they played football at Joelinton's house in the summer holidays.

"They hit the car a couple of times too!

"We also facetimed Bruno and he stuck his thumbs up at it, but they were talking a lot in Portuguese so I couldn't really understand it."

Taylor hasn't ruled out any future tattoos, but for now, he's happy enough with the Magpie trio across his stomach.

There's still two weeks left of the summer transfer window, so with that in mind, we asked you where in the team still needs strengthening and who Eddie Howe should be targeting.

Here are some of your comments:

Chris: We desperately need some new faces in the attacking area. I’d be happy with a striker and a winger but they have to improve the side not just be as back up. We lack creativity in the final third and it showed in the Brighton game. I have full faith in the Newcastle management and hierarchy to do what’s best for the club, which is a refreshing change.

Andrew: Ronaldo is available... only joking! How about spending our full budget on someone like Alexander Isak? He can play wide, but also play centrally when Wilson is injured. Or there's Rashford who needs a clean break.

Jay: We need a striker or two, we can’t rely on Wilson and Wood to score goals. We also need one or two creative midfielders who have that creative spark to score goals. I feel we are lacking in midfield. Saint-Maximin and Almiron aren't good enough, they just can’t perform week in week out.

Steve: We're going in the right direction and not giving in to ridiculous demands from greedy individuals, agents or clubs. Instead we have a nice cautious approach within the bounds of financial fair play.

Areola on the Europa Conference League: “Of course. It’s a European competition and a good opportunity to play in Europe again this season. You cannot just put a European competition on the side and say it’s lower than the Champions League and Europa League. You have to win the games and aim to win the competition.

“It’s a good chance to have a win in official competition, so we are ready for that and ready for tomorrow. That’s all we’re thinking about.”

Areola on Thilo Kehrer, whom he played with at PSG: “I think he is a good player, good with the feet and has good experience as well. He has played with some of the greatest players in the world and has that experience in European competition.

“He will bring plenty of experience and quality. It is helpful [to have played with him] because you have gone through lots of games together, we played for a year-and-a-half together so lots of games. It’s always good to have that on the pitch and it’s good to be confident with all the players.”

Areola on facing Viborg: “Obviously when you are a competitor you want to play as much as you can. I’m here to give my best to help the team so every opportunity I have to play I’m ready.”

Areola on last season’s European run: “I think we did something great for the first time in Europe and we want to do better this year. When you’re in Europe you want to win and that’s what we’ll be looking to do.

“We showed lots of good things last season and we are here to compete in the Conference – we will give our best to get to the final stages. You have to push yourself to be as good as you can.”

Finally, McKinlay on whether Kehrer will play tomorrow: "We’ll see how he settles in, get a bit of feedback from him and see how he feels over the next 24 hours. He trained a little bit with us this morning.

"Craig Dawson still has a bit of problem with his quad but will hopefully be back soon."

McKinlay on Moyes' absence: "It was an emotional night in Frankfurt and a huge game for everybody. The stakes were high, we’re human and have to make allowances for that.

"The manager will still be [in the stadium] tomorrow night and have an influence. Circumstances happen and you just had to deal with it."

McKinlay on Viborg and a potential banana skin: "[Detailed preparation] is something the manager does in every game, regardless of the opposition. We’ve been glued to the video since Nottingham Forest so we’ll deal with it as we do any other game.

There will be no complacency from anyone at the Club and we know we will have to play well to get a result."

McKinlay on Kehrer's position: "He’s played predominately for the national team at left-back and centre-back for PSG last season, so we feel we have a really good acquisition for the squad. He will be able to add to us in a number of areas."

McKinlay on Kehrer: "He has good experience, is versatile and has played at a high level with Germany and PSG so he will bring a lot to us and we’re looking forward to working with him."

McKinlay on the captain issue: "Aaron Cresswell is suspended as well and he normally takes over so that will be a decision we take closer to the game."
