Ayda Field-Williams, wife of Robbie Williams, has made some candid disclosures about their relationship following claims of a 'no sex' period in their marriage.

Although she usually maintains privacy regarding her high-profile union with the pop star, Ayda opened up about their intimate life during her return to daytime television on Loose Women.

The American actress graced the Loose Women set this Thursday, April 25, marking her first appearance since five years ago on the popular ITV show, reports the Mirror.

In conversation with panellists including Christine Lampard, Denise Welch, and Nadia Sawalha, Ayda addressed comments made by her husband Robbie that suggested a lack of intimacy in their marriage.

Robbie had sparked conversations with his remarks in a self-titled documentary released on Netflix in November 2023.

However, Ayda clarified the situation while speaking to the Loose Women panel, stating that Robbie's comments were actually in reference to a podcast she had participated in before his documentary aired: "I think it was in reference to a podcast I had done where we're just joking (...) It was like a mom podcast. I was just kind of joking."

Following the media attention her joke received, Robbie was prompted to comment and chose to "go even further into detail", leading to public confusion. Addressing Denise Welch directly, Ayda confirmed on the show: "listen, we do have sex. It does happen."

Robbie Williams and Ayda Field Williams

Ayda Field has opened up about the strength of her relationship with Robbie Williams, saying: "I always say that our intimacy is way higher than it was before. He says I love you 20 times a day and we call each other as well. I love it. Before we came on just now, he just said 'I love you so much.'"

She acknowledged their deep connection, stating they were "connected to the core" and highlighting how this bond makes them one of the entertainment world's most enduring couples.

Ayda Field-Williams made rare revelations about her intimacy with husband and singer Robbie Williams

Ayda has been a steadfast support for Robbie through his most challenging times, having been together since 2006, despite some initial turbulence including a "disturbing" first date.

Their journey has seen Robbie confront his addictions, with Ayda by his side every step of the way.

In his recent documentary, Robbie revealed that he struggled to maintain sobriety while in a relationship with Ayda, leading to a breakup and another stint in rehab. After his recovery, the couple reconciled and got married at his Beverly Hills home on August 7, 2010.

They are now proud parents of four children: daughters Theodora and Colette, and sons Charlton and Beau.
