Paul Sims is a vastly experienced national news reporter who joined The Sun in 2013 as the paper's man in Yorkshire, having previously worked at the Daily Mail and London's Evening Standard. Since then he has scored a string of agenda-setting scoops and covered some of the world's biggest stories - including the Jimmy Savile scandal, the murder of MP Jo Cox in 2016, the Manchester Arena terror attack a year later, the Duke of Edinburgh's death and the infamous Wagatha Christie libel battle. He was also among the very first journalists sent to cover the Ukraine war after Russia's invasion in February 2022. During his time at The Sun he has twice been shortlisted for Scoop of the Year.
