GOOD Morning Britain will be subject to yet another presenter shake-up during the Easter holiday season.

The ITV daytime series will see a familiar face exit their spot alongside Kate Garraway, 56, on Good Friday - with a permanent replacement for ex anchor Ben Shephard, 49, yet to be found.

In March, we were first to report how broadcaster Adil Ray was making his Good Morning Britain return on a series of Fridays through spring.

Yet he has now announced a two-week break, leaving fans guessing as to who will cover the show on March 29 and April 5.

Taking to his page on X Citizen Khan star Adil, 49, addressed fans and wrote: "Thanks for watching @gmb. "Off for Fridays over the Easter break.

"Back with you from April 12 peeps, and for quite a few Fridays until September."

Attempting a joke, he added: "FriRays they’re all calling it. Well one person did. That’ll do."

Switch up

Back in March, Adil took to his page on X to report his comeback.

He wrote: "From Friday, I’ll be back @gmb for most Fridays until the end of May.

"First run is the next three Fridays until the Easter break.

GMB’s Adil Ray furiously clashes with MP as he opens up about vile racist abuse

"Hope you’ll join me. In the current climate it feels like a huge privilege to be on morning telly.

"Would love it if you joined us from 6am. Thank you."

Bye bye Ben

Adil was taking on the seat formerly occupied by Ben - who has bagged a new presenting role and later wake-up call on This Morning.

He fought back tears on his last GMB which aired on February 23.

At the time, Ben spoke out about how leaving his show "wife" Kate was the "hardest decision".

Yet he began his This Morning stint with his cheeky chap banter as he playfully poked fun at co-host Cat Deeley's marriage.

Tipping Point fans have also been left concerned he will quit his role on the hit quiz show due to his This Morning workload.
