ALYA Nazir's exit storyline has been uncovered as actress Sair Khan prepares to leave Coronation Street.
The star is currently pregnant with her first child and is due to give birth very soon.

As such, she is walking away from the Cobbles to take her maternity leave.
In recent weeks, Alya has come to blows with Adam Barlow after she spectacularly quit working for him at Barlow's Legal Services.
She was left beyond frustrated and disgruntled at the way Adam had been treating her at the company especially after she impressed a potential client at Fabian's during a meeting.
Alya opted to quit after Fabian's offered to continue training her with them as well as offer up better quality of work and a day-a-week at collage to improve her legal know-how.

Adam felt a fool for letting go of Alya after the solicitor's office seemingly fell into utter, incomprehensible disarray within the space of 24 hours.
Having begged for her back, she still snubbed him after realising that she had been continually undervalued as an employee.
In upcoming scenes, fans will continue to see how Alya and Adam deal with each other.
Having decided to work together on a Fabian's case, Alya calls in at Adam's to collect a case file for an existing client of hers.

As she does so, she spots Adam in pure despair over the admin work.
Adam then coyly suggests to her that they pull out of the joint work they are doing with Fabian's and reconcile.

Alya and Rich them meet Adam where they discuss their plans and Alya confirms that she is leaving to work in Dublin.
Later on, Adam and Alya come together and work on the joint case and they share a smile with one another.
Having stolen a glance, Adam decides to admit his feelings for Alya.
The pair then share a kiss just as Rich calls at the office where he catches them embracing.
Will Alya still flee to Dublin or will she remain in Weatherfield for Adam.
