We wrongly said that Vincent Nichols, Archbishop of Westminster, banned priests from entering churches during lockdown earlier this year (Comment, Dec 26). Under government rules the public were not admitted, but Catholic priests continued to celebrate Mass in churches. The Westminster cathedral choir school will not, as we suggested, become a day school. Choristers will be weekly boarders.
