Fanta, Thursday and Excellent were among the unusual names given to babies born in Scotland last year, but only three baby girls were named Nicola.
A full list of the names of babies born across the country in 2023 has been revealed by the National Records of Scotland (NRS).
Although Isla and Luca were the most popular names for babies, some parents opted for more bizarre and unique names for their children. They included Achilles, Aladdin, Bentley, Dee-Jay, Excellent, Frost, Lavish, Mighty, Ocean-Blu, Thursday, Titan and Wolf.
Girls’ names included Armani-Rose, Delight, Diamond, Dior, Dream, Fanta, October, Pasty, Peach, Sailor, Testimony, Marvel, Mercedes, Tulip, Vogue and Waverley.
