Us parents can't seem to win.
We feel guilty when we say no to them.
But even worse when we say yes.
And giving into the nagging only opens the door for judging glares from others.
But isn't it time to shift the chat from 'screens are bad’
to 'it's what's on them that counts’?
Used right, screens can be pretty great.
They can be windows to worlds beyond our postcode.
They break down the news into raisin-sized pieces.
And teach algebra to ace tests.
It's 2023 and screens are a big part of our kids' future.
So let's learn to live with them better.
