It's been a while for Rangers
Rangers v PSV Eindhoven (20:00)
Rangers last played in European football’s elite club competition in 2010-11.
Since then there have been two qualifying defeats to Malmo, a decade apart.
Following last season's loss to the Swedes, the Ibrox side enjoyed a memorable run all the way to the Europa League final, only to suffer penalty shootout heartache against Eintracht Frankfurt in Seville.
Rangers aim for 'biggest stage'
Rangers v PSV Eindhoven (20:00)
Rangers are two play-off games away from the promised land of the Champions League group phase.
Standing in their way are PSV Eindhoven, with tonight's first leg at Ibrox.
"I came here and wanted to win this club prizes and wanted to play at the highest level and that is Champions League," said manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst yesterday.
"The main thing for me is to qualify and bring the club back into the biggest stage in European football."
