  2. Goal difference 'frustration' for Taylor

Manchester City manager Gareth Taylor says he was "frustrated" in his side conceding a last-gasp goal at Brighton, with goal difference potentially pivotal in the Women's Super League title race.

City's 4-1 win over Brighton, their 10th straight league win, moves them level on points with WSL leaders Chelsea.

A six-goal win would have taken City top, but instead they remain behind the Blues on goal difference.

And their goal difference took a further blow in second-half stoppage time when Lee Geum-min was allowed to ghost in behind the City defence to score Brighton's consolation goal from a low cross.

With City leading 2-0 at half-time, Taylor said he had instructed his side to actively seek more goals in the second half to try to cut the goal difference deficit - but felt this perhaps disrupted his team's natural way of playing.

    Read more from Taylor here.

  3. And the bottom...

At the other end, that latest result leaves Leicester eighth in the Women's Super League with Bristol City very much still consigned to the bottom following their 2-0 loss to Manchester United earlier today.

West Ham's 3-1 defeat by Liverpool means they are still struggling down at the bottom, six points off the relegation place.

  4. At the top...

Well let's have a look at how things stand in the Women's Super League after the weekend's action.

Manchester City's 4-1 win over Brighton means they move level on points with Chelsea at the top of the table, separated by only goal difference. Arsenal are struggling after their loss to Emma Hayes' side on Friday leaves them six points off the pace. Still, what a title race we have on our hands.

Manchester United and Liverpool both won today to remain level on points in the battle for fourth while Spurs' victory against Leicester leaves them sixth.

  5. Post update

    FT: Tottenham 1-0 Leicester

Not a classic, I think is the phrase.

But a superb day for Matilda Vinberg, who scores the only goal in Spurs' win on her first start since joining the club in January.

  6. FULL-TIME

    Tottenham 1-0 Leicester

Almost late drama as Leicester go close with seconds on the clock but no joy for the visitors and it's an important three points for Tottenham.

  7. DISALLOWED GOAL

    Tottenham 1-0 Leicester

    Ahh that's a shame!

A lovely through ball from Kit Graham finds Beth England in front of goal and she calmly slots into the bottom corner but the flag shoots up.

Unlucky, she thought she had well and truly wrapped up the points for her side there.

  8. INJURY TIME

    Tottenham 1-0 Leicester

We're into five minutes of added time at the end of this one.

  9. Post update

    Tottenham 1-0 Leicester

Oh hello. Late chance for Spurs to double their lead as Kit Graham has an opportunity on the edge of the area. Beth England also manages to get a shot on goal but it's well saved.

The ball pings around in the penalty box but the home side just can't get it under control.

  10. YELLOW CARD

    Tottenham 1-0 Leicester

It's all got a bit scrappy as we enter the closing stages and Emilia Pelgander is the latest name in the referee's book.

  11. SUBSTITUTION

    Tottenham 1-0 Leicester

More substitutions. Australian international Courtney Nevin is on for Janice Cayman for the visitors.

  12. Post update

    Tottenham 1-0 Leicester

That opening goal from Matilda Vinberg feels like a long time ago now. She scored in the second minute of the game.

88 minutes is a long time to hold onto a one-goal lead.

  13. YELLOW CARD

    Tottenham 1-0 Leicester

Spurs give the ball away in the middle of the park but Jutta Rantala's through ball has too much on it for CJ Bott to latch on.

Ramona Petzelberger is the latest into the book for a shirt pull on Bott. Leicester have a freekick in a dangerous area.

  14. SUBSTITUTION

    Tottenham 1-0 Leicester

Olga Ahtinen is on for Eveliina Summanen as Spurs look to see this one out.

  15. YELLOW CARD

    Tottenham 1-0 Leicester

Janice Cayman is into the book for a cheeky foul.

Spurs fans not happy with the referee as Leicester are then given a corner when the home fans think it should be a goalkick.

The corner comes to nothing so the home supporters can breathe a sigh of relief.

  16. Post update

    Tottenham 1-0 Leicester

We have round 15 minutes plus added time remaining for Tottenham to hold on or Leicester to get something out of this.

  17. SUBSTITUTION

    Tottenham 1-0 Leicester

Yet more changes for Leicester as Josie Green comes on for Julie Thibaud and Emilia Pelgander comes on for Nicole Momiki.

  18. Post update

    Tottenham 1-0 Leicester

    Goodness me.

That is a real wasted opportunity for Spurs.

Rosella Ayane should score as Jessica Naz squares across and she just times her run right for a simple tap in but she sends her effort wide.

    Should've scored.

  19. SUBSTITUTION

    Tottenham 1-0 Leicester

It's all gone a bit flat at Brisbane Road so Leicester are going to make a change to try and inject some life into the game.

Off goes Lena Petermann for Deanne Rose.

Grace Clinton is also making way for Ramona Petzelberger for Spurs.
