Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson's fiancee Jada gave birth to a baby boy recently, making the Indianapolis star a father for the first time.

The baby's name and exact date of birth have yet to be released publicly.

Richardson became a father around a month after what appears to be Jada's baby shower, where he proposed.

Jada showed off her new ring on Instagram, as well as pictures of the moment when the former Florida quarterback got down on one knee.

Richardson was last seen publicly supporting the Gators' men's basketball team during the an NCAA Tournament game against Florida in Indianapolis.

Richardson had a promising start to his rookie season before undergoing shoulder surgery

Jada gushed on her Instagram story about becoming a mother with two photos of her baby

'So blessed to be your mama,' Jada posted to her Instagram story.

Jada also shared a few posts on Instagram showing off her baby bump, including two from a luxury box at a Colts game against the Raiders at Lucas Oil Stadium.

Richardson was the No 4 overall pick by Indianapolis in the 2023 NFL Draft and was named the team's starting quarterback for its season opener.

A promising start to his rookie year was cut short in Week 5 when he suffered an AC joint sprain that was eventually treated with season-ending shoulder surgery.

Jada also showed off her baby bump throughout her pregnancy, including at a Colts game

Even with Gardner Minshew now playing for the Raiders and the Colts signing 39-year-old Joe Flacco, who dazzled with the Browns last year, Richardson is still expected to be Indianapolis' starter in year No 2.

No timeframe is known publicly for when Jada and Richardson plan to get married.

The Colts will enter an improving AFC South in 2024, with the Houston Texans and Jacksonville Jaguars expected to compete for a division title.

The Texans made the AFC Divisional playoffs last season because of the spectacular play of fellow 2023 draftee CJ Stroud.
