We designed this new video in collaboration with The Royal National Lifeboat Institution for NGOs, non-profits, and humanitarians, as well as community members anywhere in the world that find themselves in a flood event. Take a few minutes to learn techniques to reduce risk before, during, and after a flood and what to do and not do if you end up in the water. https://lnkd.in/g8AbBzBy

Save the date: Thursday 29th February is a #DayForLearning. If you've been following our socials in the past week you'll know in 2024 @ALNAP will be challenging itself, its members and colleagues across the wider humanitarian sector to unlock the full potential of the rich knowledge and evidence that’s out there. Our challenge is to shift learning approaches and cultures in ways that better recognise and respond to the evolving complexity of humanitarian crises and the urgency of need. ALNAP is encouraging humanitarians everywhere - whether you're a leader or on the frontline of a crisis, a researcher or just starting a career in the humanitarian sector - to start by taking some time out to recommit yourself to learning on the extra day we all get this year. Of course, as the learning network for the humanitarian sector, we want our #WithLearningComesChange initiative to be collective, collaborative and interactive. We want to see and hear all about people and organisations who are getting creative with their learning ideas. Please let us know what you are planning for the #DayForLearning or in 2024. Reply here or post on your own channels, so we can celebrate your learning innovations and achievements too.
