Next week, the Coronation Street legend is awash with guilt and tells the businesswoman the whole truth. But how will Carla react?

Money is on Carla Connor's long list of worries after serial killer Stephen Reid stole all that he could from her.
In scenes airing next week on ITV, the businesswoman portrayed by Alison King is approached by Gary Windass (Mikey North) who tells her he is thinking of selling the factory building.
He adds that he'd like her to have first refusal but a defeated Carla admits there is no way she can afford any of it.
Meanwhile, Daisy Midgeley's (Charlotte Jordan) finances are at an all-time high.

While Carla tries to claw her way out of her rough patch, Daisy daintily climbs out of Tim Metcalfe's taxi with her many shopping bags.
This catches Bethany Platt's (Lucy Fallon) eye as she reckons Daisy must have spent a fortune.
However, Daisy snaps that it’s all from the charity shops in Alderley Edge.
In the Rovers, an intrigued Bethany overhears Jenny Connor (Sally Ann Matthews) tearing a strip off Daisy for spending so much money on her shopping spree.

Jenny and Daisy reopened the boozer while making the firm promise they would pay Carla back.
But as the truth is on the verge of coming to light, things won't be going according to plan.
In other scenes, Jenny calls Ryan through to the bar and Bethany seizes the opportunity to rifle through drawers.
She then stuffs something in her handbag and hurries out.
In the builder’s yard flat, Bethany takes out Stephen’s journal from her bag and flicks through it, intrigued.
Has she uncovered the truth?
In the café, Jenny masks her panic as Carla makes a dig about Bethany’s accusations.
Back in the Rovers, a stressed Jenny tells Daisy they need to find a way to pay the money back to Carla without her finding out.
Unfortunately for Jenny, doing the right thing may not be an option for her as Daisy insists they should just keep quiet.

With the karaoke night in full flow, Sally Webster (Sue Devaney) admires Daisy’s new designer bag.
A terrified Jenny berates her stepdaughter for flaunting her wealth but things go from bad to worse when she fails to realise her words can be heard over the microphone.
Ryan Connor (Ryan Prescott) soon steps in to calm the situation and Carla clocks the tension.
Carla finds a visibly upset Jenny in Victoria Garden and quizzes her about Bethany’s suspicions over Stephen’s money.
Unable to keep quiet for much longer, Jenny crumples and admits that they took it but had every intention of paying it back.
Will Carla ever be able to forgive Jenny?
Or will Jenny have to face her wrath?
