Why are some programmes not available to download on the app?

You might find some programmes on the BBC Sounds app that only have options to Bookmark or Subscribe, with no option to Download.

Although some programmes won't be available to download for rights reasons, we're aware that this is happening with programmes which are available to download from the BBC Sounds website, for example, In Our Time, Desert Island Discs, Home Front and From Our Own Correspondent, among others. 

We are continuing to make more of these programmes available to download and we'll update this page with any new information.
