This Early May bank holiday weekend (Saturday 4 May to Monday 6 May), Network Rail will be carrying out planned engineering work on several parts of the West Coast Main Line.

How will my journey be affected this Spring bank holiday?

This Spring bank holiday weekend (Saturday 25 May to Monday 27 May), Network Rail are carrying out planned engineering work on the West Coast Main Line. Please plan ahead and check the itinerary (including any changes), as your journey could take longer and may include bus replacement services.

• Longer journeys between London Euston and Scotland.
• Bus replacement services between Preston and Carlisle and Carlisle to Glasgow / Edinburgh.
• An amended service will run between Stafford and Crewe.
• Trains between London Euston and Holyhead will run between Crewe and Holyhead only.
